IIFH will participate in the 17th Fatty Acids in Cell Signaling Conference, taking place December 1–4, 2026, at UC Davis. The conference will focus on dairy lipids and fats in metabolic and brain health, bringing together researchers interested in how fatty acids and lipid signaling influence biological function. This topic is highly relevant to food and health research because lipids are not only nutrients and energy sources, but also important signaling molecules that can affect metabolism, inflammation, neurological function, and disease risk.

IIFH’s participation will support dialogue around the role of food-derived compounds in human health and the importance of translating lipid biology into nutrition and health insights. The conference offers an opportunity to connect basic science with applied questions about dairy, fats, metabolic health, and brain health. Through engagement with researchers and partners at FACS-2026, IIFH can contribute to conversations about how lipid science may inform future nutrition strategies, health interventions, and innovation across food and biomedical research.
