The Innovation Institute for Food and Health (IIFH) is convening leaders from academia, healthcare, national laboratories, industry, investment, and philanthropy for a focused discussion on the rapidly emerging role of molecularly driven diagnostics and biosensors in nutrition and health.

This one-day, invitation-only executive convening will focus on identifying new opportunities for scientific discovery, product innovation, and commercialization to make the foods we love healthier for all people and the planet.

As food, health, and medicine increasingly converge, new diagnostic tools are creating the opportunity to better understand how individuals respond to foods, ingredients, diets, interventions, and health conditions at the molecular level. These innovations have the potential to transform precision nutrition, consumer health, clinical care, product innovation, and investment strategy. Yet the field remains fragmented, and in need of stronger cross-sector alignment around the science, technology, commercialization pathways, and real-world use cases that will define the next decade.

The Discovery Forum follows the progression of the field—from advances in biomarkers and laboratory diagnostics, to personal devices for molecular measurement, to the integration of biological data into actionable insights. Together, these discussions explore how emerging diagnostic technologies can accelerate innovation, commercialization, and improved nutrition and health.
