IIFH is serving on the planning committee for an upcoming Women’s Health event at Aggie Square in Sacramento. The event will bring together scientists, clinicians, entrepreneurs, investors, advocates, and other leaders to explore opportunities to advance women’s health innovation. While additional details about IIFH’s participation will be announced later, the event is expected to create space for cross-sector conversations about research gaps, clinical needs, emerging technologies, investment, and the translation of ideas into solutions that can improve health outcomes.

IIFH’s involvement reflects the institute’s growing engagement in the connections among food, nutrition, metabolic health, and unmet needs in women’s health. Nutrition and food-related research can play an important role in understanding health across the lifespan, including areas such as metabolism, cardiometabolic risk, reproductive health, aging, and chronic disease prevention.
