IIFH will participate in an upcoming MISTA event in San Francisco on October 21–22, 2026. While the event website is still forthcoming, MISTA’s broader ecosystem is centered on transforming the food system through collaboration across industry, startups, science, and technology. Its areas of focus include biotechnology, digital tools, sustainable packaging, regenerative agriculture and business, plant-based innovation, nutrition, and product development. Located in San Francisco, MISTA’s Innovation Center includes commercial kitchens, development labs, and collaboration spaces designed to support rapid food innovation and cross-sector partnership.
IIFH’s involvement in this event will provide an opportunity to connect with food companies, innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders working on practical solutions for the future of food. The event is a strong fit for IIFH’s mission because it sits at the intersection of food, health, science, and market translation. Participation will allow IIFH to build relationships with partners advancing new ingredients, food technologies, nutrition-forward products, and innovation models that can help move research and ideas toward broader impact.
