UC Davis’ Aggie Venture Accelerator is launching a major new opportunity for early-stage startups in the Sacramento region. Based at Aggie Square, the program plans to invest approximately $250,000 in each of 30 startups over the next three years, helping founders move innovations from concept to commercialization.
Designed as a pre-seed funding platform, the accelerator supports ventures emerging from UC Davis as well as the broader regional ecosystem. With access to lab space, mentorship, and university resources, the program aims to strengthen Sacramento’s position as a hub for science-driven innovation—particularly in areas like health, agriculture, and technology.
This initiative reflects the broader vision of Aggie Square as an innovation district where research, industry, and community intersect to drive economic growth and real-world impact.
